How format SECTOR VALUE pie chart

Hi all,

someone know how to format the sector value of a pie chart.

the men Labels contain only the possibility to set the "sector percentage" but not the "sector value".

isn't a sector a percentage in itself With the total size of the pie being the value and the sector  a percentage of that value

No, maybe the thing is not clear.

Spotfire allows to view, as label, the sector value and the sector percentage.

The sector value is the size, which could also be a currency while the sector percentage is the percentage of the total.

Currently it "seems" possible to format only the sector percentage and not the sector value.

My request is to understand if there is a way to format the sector value as well.[/code]

What version are you working with There is a 'Sector value' under Labels:

I'm working with version 10.3. 

 

The situation is similar to that of the image. Imagine you want to format the SECTOR VALUE to ONLY 1 decimals...

The value will have the format of your column where the value is from. In my version 7.x the format in the pie chart changes when I change the format of the column.

 

So go to EDIT -> COLUMN PROPERTIES -> your table and column -> FORMATTING and change the decimals

I can't format a column because the size is a custom expression with an over expression on the Axis.Color.

Understood. But what column are you aggregating Please try to format that column.

 

Or wrap your entire expression with the INTEGER function: Integer(your custom expression). This works for me as well
