How can i plot RMSE in a spotfire scattered plot depicting linear regression. Is there an inbuilt function or do i have to use R packages.

As part of a benchmarking study, we plotted a scattered plot for a sample of 25 projects and used linear regression to establish the relation between cost and weight of the structures. We now intend to include RMSE+ and RMSE- to understand the fit but with no success.

Is there a way we can add RMSE to the existing regression line

Spotfire does not have a built-in mechanism to display root-mean-square error (RMSE+ and RMSE-) for a regression line in a visualization.
