How to share expression functions

Hi,

I would like to make some expression functions available to all users in a way that they are readily available in any analysis (even if built from scratch) just like any other built in Spotfire expression. So far the only method I found is sharing it through a DXP which is not ideal.

I do realize a similar question has been asked before but a) it has not be answered so far and b) it specifically asks for how to store expression functions in the library. The latter would be a work around but users would still have to import and register it which can be complicated for the average user. So I'd like to extend that question to: can custom expression functions be deployed as a package similar to how one can build and deploy e.g. packages with R libraries
