How to activate/enable "Filter to Marked Rows" only when the rows are marked in TIBCO Spotfire 10.3v

Hi,

Can we enable the action control button so as to Filter to Marked Rows only when the rows are marked, otherwise the button on click shouldn't perform any action

The reason I'm looking for this functionality is because if we click the action control button when none of the rows are marked in the data table or cross table then the entire data gets filtered out. This functionality is not expected

I tried using this workaround mentioned in this thread: https://community.spotfire.com/wiki/how-perform-filter-marked-rows-tibco-spotfire-using-ironpython-scripting, but it throws an error:

ValueError: The column 'Filtered to' does not exist in the collection.

Do we have any other workaround for this
