Map Chart : Is there a way to show 2 lines in Map chart

Hi All,

My requirement is to have 2 different lines(two differrent colored lines) in Map chart in Line connection(refer to attached screenshot).

Please refer to attached dxp file and let me know if there is a way to achieve it. Please help...

What i meant was, Can there be two lines between Seattle-Palo Alto(blue which is present and also red one)  

 

It will solve my whole use case.

Hi HS,

 

In the examples provoded, they would overlap, if the coordinates are exactly the same. But you can however show arrows to indicate the directon (in the Line Connection options). That would show you a red and blue arrow.

 

I have seen though examples of flying routes from the same departure airport to the same destination airport that were different lines. It could be related to other map layers, but also to other data columns (such as time).

You could add your data a second time as duplicate Marker Layer, then use the 'Jittering' option under "Appearance" to move it slightly so the two lines do not overlap.

Unfortunately there is not currently a way to add labels to Line Connection lines. You can suggest this on our Ideas Portal at https://ideas.tibco.com.

 

It's a little clunky, but you might consider using Annotations on your map chart to describe the lines.
