Georgi Koemdzhiev
Hello, Our team have recently created a dev Spotfire 10.8.1 Server so we can test and eventually deploy to prod. I have seen something weird that happens when I use the Spotfire Analyst (it's version 10.8 as well) and go to File -> View Library. It opens my browser tohttp://127.0.0.1/ (localhost). How is that possible The server is running in the cloud (AWS EC2). Could that be because of a misconfiguration on the server
Manoj Singh
Launch the Spotfire Analyst with login and then check the Spotfire Server URL present in it inside the manager server option.
Georgi Koemdzhiev
Hello, thank you for your suggestion. I have checked the URL to my server and it looks fine (i.e. it does not point to my localhost address http://127.0.0.1/)
Manoj Singh
Go to the Spotfire Server machine, open the configuration tool >> Configuration tab >> Public addressed >> Enable it and enter the Spotfire Server URL >> Save the configuration and restart the Spotfire Server service.
