How to put an image in the background and adjust it so that it fits on the screen

I am designing a landing page and it needs to have a background image which fits the screen. I am using the below HTML code in text area

 

 

 

 

 

 

Width is adjusting as I am resizing the screen but the height is not adjusting. I am getting a scroll bar. By giving, height as 100% doesn't solve the issue.

You can just use img tag without table. Below works at my end. You will not get scroll bar.
