Snapshot data issue (OSIsoft custom data source)

I am facing issue while reading snapshot value of astale PI tag.

eg. If last archived sample for a tag is three days prior current date (the tag was scanned off three days back)

When I try to read snapshot value of that tag using spotfire desktop, the timestamp retrieved is that of three days back (i.e. timestamp of the last archived sample before the tag was scanned off)

But when Irun the same on spotifre server, then the timestamp retrieved is current datetime. (ideally it should be three days old)

Has anyone else encountered similar issue
