Is there a way to use a custom picture/icon in a graphical table

I have a request to do something similar to stop lighting, but using one to five dollar signs, depending on the cost for the specific group. For example, if the cost is between 0 and $1000 that establishment would get one dollar sign. If the cost is between $2000 and $3000 that row would get two stars, and so on. I am somewhat new to spotfire, but I don't see how I can use any symbols other than the few that are already standard in the software. And I also don't see how I can string more than one together in a cell. However, I was thinking if there was a way to use a custom picture, that might be helpful. Is this possible Is there another solution

Thanks in advance!

Hi Rebecca,

If you don't want to colorcode the $ sign, you can just create a calculated item based on the condition and use it in the graphic table. If you need to color code the $ sign, you can try to use crosstable. Instead of a graphic table, use the calculated column and color formatting in properties to change the text color.

Calculated column:

Case

when [COST] <= 1000, then "$"

when [cost] > 1000 and <= 2000, then "$$"

....

else "$$$$$"

end
