Sumeeth Tewar Posted February 11, 2020 Share Posted February 11, 2020 I want more memory be available to spotfire analytics client software, I see it processing and hung for a few minutes when performing a Ironpython calculation. In the meantime from the task manager, checked the RAM and CPU consumption, which were both below 20%. So I assume setting the memory and CPU for this specific software will enable more performance Please kindly let me know how and where to set these parameters. Khushboo Rabadia Posted March 3, 2020 Share Posted March 3, 2020 Memory management is handled dynamically. It is not possible to allocate specific RAM, CPU to one application. If resource usage is normal while Iron python script is doing background calculation, that means you can check on increasing CPU speed i.e. upgrade to CPU with better speed in order to boost up the calculation speed.
