Tyger Guzman 2 Posted January 30, 2020 Share Posted January 30, 2020 The only noticable differece that I see is when using a transformation it can be placed at any step in our data canvas/import steps of data table. Where as the insert method will add the calculated column to the final resulting table. So you could place a calculated column through the tranformation method so that it occurs before data joins rather than insert where it will happen after all the data transformations.
