Ifeoma Adaji Posted January 16, 2020 Share Posted January 16, 2020 I get this error message when trying to schedule an email job in Spotfire Task 1 'Send Email' failed with: System.FormatException: The specified string is not in the form required for an e-mail address. at System.Net.Mail.MailAddressParser.ParseAddress(String data, Boolean expectMultipleAddresses, Int32& index) at System.Net.Mail.MailAddressParser.ParseAddress(String data) at System.Net.Mail.MailAddress..ctor(String address, String displayName, Encoding displayNameEncoding) at Spotfire.Dxp.Automation.Tasks.Tasks.SendEmail.SendTheMail(TaskExecutionContext context, String smtpHost, String fromAddress, String messageBody, AttachmentsInfo attachmentsInfo) at Spotfire.Dxp.Automation.Tasks.Tasks.SendEmail.ExecuteCore(TaskExecutionContext context) Has anyone encountered this or does anyone know how I can resolve it Thank you.
