Surekha Kasar 3
Haven't tried it myself but I recollect reading somewhere that this is possible. Will search that stuff and share.
Surekha Kasar 3
Quoting the response received from the Tibco Support on a request to install an external font based on the client requirement: --To use the font on the Professional client, please just copy the font over to the "fonts" folder on your hard drive. For the Web Player however, this font needs to be installed or it not be used when you open the file in the Web Player-- However, we noted, copying the font file to--font-- did work for MS office but not for Spotfire Professional client. Since this requirement was deprioritized/removed eventually, we stopped working on it any further. May be, if you have a support account, they will be able to guide you better. Manoj Chaurasia
Yes its possible, get the new font installed in your system coz its the existing font list gets populated in spotfire. I had a similar requirement some time back and this was the approach followed. Give a try and hope it should work and any other way let us know. Han Park
Can't seem to get Spotfire to register new fonts. Would be great if you could point me in the right direction
Han Park
Installing a new font is only recognized by Office, NOT Spotfire
Han Park
Installing the font didn't seem to work on Windows 7. Any ideas on how to get Spotfire to recognize newly installed fonts
Prithvi Moses 2
Right click on the font and click "Imstall" on the web player machine. Copying it in the fonts folder is not sufficient. No need to restart web player, just refresh the Web Player client browser and it will pick up the new font.
