Mapping Shipping lanes by frequency in maps

I am trying to map shipping routes based on shipping and recieving lats/longs and weight them by total number of shipments. Essentially I need this map with the locations marked as shown but the line weight would be based upon the number of shipments. i.e. the heaviest traveled route would be the thickest:

 

I can get the locations to show and the routes but I cannot seem to figure out the line weight option. IS there a different way to illustrate this within spotfire if line weights are not an option Any help is much appreciated. Excel sheet and .dxp attached.
