Not able to find Spotfire Server services after installation on Windows 10

Hello Vijay,

The following operating systems are supported for Spotfire Server 7.11.

Microsoft Windows Server 2016 *

Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2

Microsoft Windows Server 2012

Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 (SP1 or higher)

Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7

Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6

Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5

SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 12

SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11

Note: Only 64-bit versions of the operating systems are supported.

Note: * Containers are not supported.

Windows 10 isn't tested or supported one for Spotfire Server 7.11.

In addition to previous update, if you are not able to find Windows Service for Spotfire server in services.msc then it might possible that you did not install a Windows service during Spotfire server installation.

If you are not able to see service then you can use below steps to start or stop Spotfire server service:

 

Log in to the Spotfire Servercomputer as an administrator.

Open a command prompt and go to the following folder:/tomcat/bin.

Run thestartup.batfile to start service.

Run th shutdown.bat to stop service.

 

Note: As mentioned in earlier reply, eventhough technically it is possible to install Spotfire server on Windows 10 but it is not tested and recommended OS to install Spotfire server.
