I have a dxp file thats connected to a MS SQL Server

I saved the data connection in the library, but when admin goes to cache the dxp he gets a permissionserror

How can I cache this dxp and all of the data it pulls from the data connection

Yes scheduledupdates has access to the folder.

Error is "Prompting is not allowed for shareable documents" which I'm thinking may be related to the data source settings/credentials, info found here https://docs.tibco.com/pub/spotfire/7.0.1/doc/html/connect/connect_details_on_data_source_settings_credentials.htm

Since the "Yes save credentials" section is greyed out i'm assuming we either have to somehow enable that or we have to save a credentials profile in the webconfig, correct

I see the documentation talks about automation services but doesn't called out scheduled updates specifically.  Will one of the 2 options above adress scheduled updates as well

If thats the case, can you point me to some documentation on how to create the credentials profile in the web config and how to enable save credentials please.

In general the "Yes save credentials" section is greyed out when the connection is saved to the library. You will have to embed the connection by selecting the option "embed in connection" and then can use the credential profile or save the credentials with in the analysis.https://docs.tibco.com/pub/sfire-analyst/10.6.0/doc/html/en-US/TIB_sfire-analyst_UsersGuide/index.htm#t=connect%2Fconnect_details_on_data_connection_settings_data_source.htmCheck the WebConfig section of following documentation for configuring a profile for WebPlayer,
