Bhoobalan Ramaswamy 2 Posted November 18, 2019 Share Posted November 18, 2019 Hi All, I am trying to connect to MongoDB database from Spotfire by using Oracle MYSql connector via MongoDB BI Connector . Mongo DB BI connector is installed and for that System DSN is also setup. Test connection success to MOngoDB database. I have installed the Oracle MYSQL connector and visible from Spotfire end. Now when I give the details in spotfire and try to connect its throwing the below error. Error in Spotfire Oracle My SQL connector : Could not connect due to an unknown error. External error: Authentication to host "******************"for user '********' using method 'mysql_native_password' failed with message: recv handshake response error: authentication bytes expected but incomplete And I tried to create a DSN for Oracle and try to provide the same detailss . I am getting the following error. [MySQL][ODBC 5.3 Driver] SSL is required when using Cleartext Authentication method. Request your help on the same ASAP.
