Manage relation based on calculated columns

Hi All,

Is it possible to create relation between two tables on top of calculated columns selected as right and left columns.

Basically i want to create a calculated column which will store a parameter value of a drop downand then use it to define relation between two tables.

If Iinsert transformation and then add a calulated column with that parameter value, the value becomes static andit doesn't change on changing the drop down selection.
