Is there a way to track or differentiate new data from old data

I would like to track the data that is already reviewed in Spotfire. For example, if the user is looking at an analysis one week and reviews the data, then new and updated data is downloaded the second week,is there a way forthe userknow what is new and what isolder Basically, is there a way to time stamp each download for the data sets as they come in

Is there a way to add a Timestamp column to the data you are importing from the external data source That might be the easiest way to achieve this.
