Where to find Web Player runtime exceptions log

Hello,

 

I have deployed a CustomTool C# extension which works on the SpotfireAnalyst. However, when executing on the Web Player it raises an exception:

 

Could somebody please point me to where I should be looking at if I want to find the Web Player's runtime exceptions log file

If you are an administrator on Spotfire then you can access the logs directly from the NodeManager machine and/or directly from the browser

To find the respective log you can do the following,

1. Goto Monotioring and Diagnostics page in the server administration console in the browser and select the instances tab

2. Select the WebPlayer instance where the analysis is loaded and on the right side under the WebPlayer name you can find the option to view logs, select it and it should load the respective log file
