How to create a dropdown filter to select Month/Quarter data for Line & Bar Graph

Hi All,

I have two charts. (Line chart & Bar chart). Line chart is showing cummulative sum of Cost (Y-Axis) per Period_name (X-Axis) and Bar chart is showing just sum of Cost (Y-Axis) per Period_name (X-Axis). Now my requirement is - I should have a dropdown filter to select Monthly/Quarterly dynamically changing in bar & line chart for selcted year in the year dropdown filter.

Note: Period_name contains month& Year data. It is a string.

kindly provide me a solution.
