Replace connection string

I have a pre-setup the dashboard currently linked to a local database server that I need to replace the connection engine witha new server that have exactly same structure/tables host on AWS EC2.

My question is: What would be the best practiveto just edit the connection stringand initial catalog, but keep data tables/calculated columns/relations same as in the exisiting dashboard without break the tool

Otherwise, is there any technical option that I could export the current properties and easily recreate the same thing

If you are using data connector/data source, you can easily change the connection details in data source tab.

If you are using Add > Database approach i.e. adding data from odbc/oledb dsn to Spotfire, on change of connection string, you would need to replace that datatable to update the new data source connection details.
