Need your help. I am trying to calculate Internal Rate of Return (IRR) for several projects (either as a combined project or as a standalone project) I have calculated NPVs of individual project, but need to calculate IRR now. IRR should be that value which will drive NPV of each project to "Zero". Is there any in-built function within Spotfire which has similar functionality like "Solver" or "Goal seek" as in Excel

Greetings Arindam,

The attached Spotfire file (saved in version 10.9, openable in 10.3, 10.8, 10.9) has a simple example that uses a TERR Data Function to calculate IRR (and NPV). It handles a simple situation, and should be a good starting point. It only uses functions in the TERR base packages, so you should not have to install any R packages.
