Adam Smith 4
Hello, Is there a way to perform the steps described in this guide (How to execute an IronPython script in TIBCO Spotfire when a document property changes)from the ironpython API Right now, I have a python script that creates a new document property, and I am looking for a way to immediately associate it with a function (contained in another python script) that runs any time it changes. Any assistance would be much appreciated!
Shandilya Peddi
Currently we do not have an API available to associate a document property to a specific script.I would suggest you to file an enhancement request for that feature in the Ideas portal linked above: http://ideas.tibco.com/
Adam Smith 4
Thank you for the response! I feared as much, but it's good to know for sure before coming up with a workaround.
Matthew Stahl
The IronPython IDE that Glysade is about to release has the ability execute scripts on a number of arbitrary document changes, including property changes. Have a look at this link --https://www.glysade.com/tim/ Please contact me directly for a pre-release copy if you're interested.
