Use Map Chart to display wafer map of non-square shapes

Hi there,

I'm quite familiar with the tiled markers and it works very nice as long as you're dealing with square patterns (see e.g. here). But say in the linkedexample your dies on the wafer are not 1X1 but 1X2 this simple approach doesn't work any longer:

Do I have to go down this route(which sounds a bit too complex for everyday use...) or is there something simpler

For the benefit of others: a solution can be using shapes / spatial objects in a feature layer of the map chart.
