S H
Hello, I am trying to create a Ghant chart in Spotfire and am running into some troubles. I'm trying to use the same method outline in Wiki article on the subject. However, my data format is a little bit different. I have three columns: a program name, a start date, and an end date. I am able to get this into the format I want by putting both dates onto my Y axis and the program name onto my X axis, with lines added between. But I actually need it so that the date is on the X-axis like a standard Ghant chart. But when I attempt to do this, SF complains that multiple continuous expressions are not allowed. Is there a way to do this Is there an option I'm not aware of to just flip the X and Y axis when rendering, kind of similar to toggling a bar chart between horizontal and vertical layouts Thanks for your help! Kristoffer Jensen
Hi, you will need to unpivot your data, this will give you one columnwith both dates, and you can create a line connection between your programe name
