Andrew Berridge
Hi there, Sorry - this isn't clear. What exactly are you trying to achieve How should the calculated value be aggregated across the data table Do you want it to produce a single value for all rows Can you explain it a different way Thanks, Andrew Berridge (TIBCO Data Science) View my book on Spotfire! Andrew Berridge
Hi Naveen, You can only show a single calculated value at a time in a text area - if you wanted a value for each country then you could use a calculated value but restrict the data (in that calculated value - see the Data properties for the calculated value) to each country in turn. If you're trying to display a sort of custom table thing, then calculated values in text areas are not the right way to go. If you want a single value for the entire data table, then you need to decide how you will aggregate the whole table up to a single value. Andrew Berridge
Actually my response above could be a bit confusing. A single calculated value item in a text area can only show a single value. You can have multiple calculated value items in a text area, but each must be configured to show a single value. Just for clarification!
