Vertical line that follows cursor location in scatter plot or line chart

Hello,

I have a dashboard where I am plotting some statistics with a scatter plot, with dates on the x-axis. Is there a way to add a feature to the visualization such that there is a vertical line at wherever my cursor is on the scatter plot, so that I and people I meet with can immediately see on which dates features of interest occur (Currently we squint and read dates, which is fine, but it occurred to me that this would be a very nice little polishing feature on this dashboard.)

In case version info is relevant, I am using Tibco Spotfire Analyst 7.8.1.

It is not currently possible. You mighth want to try Tooltips feature, where a tooltip dialog would show and move along with your cursor.
