Issue with column sizes changing when filters are changed

I have a Cross table that is linked to a filtering scheme. I will have the table sized perfectly to fit on my screen but when I change a filter, it resets and becomes way too wide-- see below for example. The columns in the second image are much wider, when all I did was change a filter.

I document properties set to "Fit to Screen" if that makes a difference (I have tried changing this but it doesn't help.) Any tips on how to prevent this from happening Thanks!

Ideally filtering schemes or filters should not mess with the alignment of the cross table.

Are there any scripts in your report to change the custom size on filter change If so try removing the scripts.

If there are no scripts try to reproduce the issue in new spotfire analyst session.
