X-Axis based on Range of Column

I am trying to count any records that were open during any given month. I have start dates and end dates for the records and I would like to generate a bar chart showing the count of open records during every month.

The X-Axis needs to be every month in the date range.

Attached is an image showing a simple table and the desired graph output.

Notice how record 1 was open during Jan and Feb therefore being counted in each month. Record 3 was open in Jun-Aug and counted in each month.

You need to adapt the count to months rather than days
