the upgrade strategy is specific to the environment and the deployment type. But if you follow the general steps described in the documentation you should be good.

Yes, the official documentation is perfect (it's actually a VERY clear step by step) and was already shared with them,
but the client is requesting for further detail or complementary documentation/information

We have Spotfire deployed on a K8s cluster (on-prem solution) and customer is asking for any official document for a rolling update strategy.

The upgrade strategy is aligned with the deployment strategy

The below documentation is a good way to start

A typical upgrade is :

1. backup database and any persistent data (usually folders containing all dependencies)
2. create new versions of the Spotfire images
3. change the helm charts
4. run the helm upgrade for the rolling upgrade
5. if something goes wrong, run the helm rollback command
