Hi Dagfinn,

Not completely sure what you mean by animated visuals, but if you mean that visuals are changing automatically, you can use our Animated Bubble chart mod to do so (see link below). You can also create your own animated visuals by using javascript (see also the 'old' way of working with JSViz Visuals here:

The bubble chart mod is not really useful for me. I was wondering if there is a built-in animation function of any chart in Spotfire, like in for example Tableau. I understand now that there is not.

Hi Dagfinn,

As I am not familiar with Tableau's animation functionality, I had to look it up. I see they have an 'animation' option that 'plays' the visuals for a number of seconds.

Spotfire does not have that, as built-in functionality. The only way to do the same, is to use javascripted visualizations.
