Crash when using search and replace with empty replace

I'm using Spotfire version 10.10 and it crashes consistently when using search and replace (text area, scripts) and leaving the replace field empty. This also happens on other computers.

Is this fixed in newer versions ?

No, I can reproduce that issue even in the latest 12.5 version. This was not a known issue and appears to be an issue in a third-party component used in various text fields like the text area.
