how to update the dropdown list values according to the selected values of another document property?

for example : currently i have two dropdownlist document properties and both created out of unique values of different column and i want update the dropdownlist values upon selecting a value from the other document property.

Doc propert X have 3 values, and doc property Y have 6 values. so if i select One value from X, then only relevant 4 values should be available on doc property Y in the drop down..
