How to create progress bar

Hello Folks,

I have created a button in spotfire analysis to invoke the r-code so that it refresh data for dynamic selection but users are unable to see when the backgrond task started or ended. Can any one you suggest how to create progress bar which can alert the user regarding the data loading process.

Hello,

There is section on the right hand bottom corner which mentions the prgoress of the background task running.Please check the screenshot attached.Once the background process tasks are finished running,the background task section wont be shown.

Is there a way to change what the line says so like add part 1/5 or something like that, besides breaking up the code into multiple different functions
