Does Spotfire support coalesce() inside of custom expressions?

Hello Trey,

Yes, that is supported (for specific data sources). I assume you are working with in-database or streaming data? If so, what is the data source?

You can find a list of the supported functions for each connector in the manual. As stated in those pages: "This topic lists information about what functions you can use in Spotfire, for example for writing custom expressions and adding calculated columns, when you work with in-database data tables from [...]."

Checking in the latest 12.2 version, coalesce is supported for Snowflake, Dremio, Apache Drill, and TIBCO Spotfire Data Streams.
