How can I follow users information and online status?

Action Logging is intended to allow you to mine this information after the fact, but not necessarily to provide a realtime indication of who is connected and what they are currently doing. Action Logging can also be setup to log to a database to provide more history of user activities over time.

The setup guide can be found in the "TIBCO Spotfire® Server and Environment - Installation and Administration" manual:

https://docs.tibco.com/pub/spotfire_server/12.1.0/doc/html/TIB_sfire_server_tsas_admin_help/server/topics/action_logs_and_system_monitoring.html

The actions that are logged are listed here:

https://docs.tibco.com/pub/spotfire_server/12.1.0/doc/html/TIB_sfire_server_tsas_admin_help/server/topics/action_log_entries.html

These actions are logged for Spotfire Analyst, Spotfire Web Player and Spotfire Automation Services activities.

For Web Player specifically, you can view active sessions and open analysis files from the Spotfire Server Administration UI:

https://docs.tibco.com/pub/spotfire_server/12.1.0/doc/html/TIB_sfire_server_tsas_admin_help/server/topics/website_diagnostics.html

Hopefully this will provide most of the information you need to view the information historically, if not quite in real-time.

Cheers

Dave
