To count the number of occurrences of your first column (call it [col1]) then add column [group_id] as

DenseRank(RowId(),[col1])

This can be used to filter (set filter to group_id=1).

To calculate the number of rows for each value of [col1] you can use the expression:

Max([GroupID]) over ([col1])
