If this is connecting to a Spotfire server, so licenses are used, start by confirming that the license for that particular connector is enabled for the Spotfire user of interest - the connectors all have individual licenses so you can toggle them on and off.

Licenses can be managed by a Spotfire administrator using the Administration Manager tool. The license you should check is TIBCO Spotfire TIBCO Spotfire Connectors > OData.
