It should work all Spotfire Controls.Hard to spot the issue without the full html. Is your panel a floating panel (overlays other visualizations)? If so, it is very likely that the dropdown control that renders elements dynamically have the options displaying behind your floating panel. If you make the panel transparent you can see what I am talking about. I recommend you to try the Sidebar I mention. Easy to use and customize.
