Hello,

Well, I guess that depends on how you expect the empty values to be handled. When you add columns, in the join settings, there is e.g. an option for "Treat empty values as equal"

 

If you post a more specific example of what the data looks like and what you want to achieve, maybe someone here in the community can suggested other options.
