Luis Angel Curiel Sanz
Hi, I know to create a Holt-Winters forecast on a line chart. But how can I add the new values (fitted and forecasted) to new columns to check for their values and do some calculations on them Thanks, Regards, Luis. Sean Riley
Unfortunately that is not poissible with the built in forecasting feature. There is actually an internal enhancement idea to have the exact values from the Holt-Winters forecast be made available in a table or labels. So I would suggest you file an enhancement request for that feature in the Ideas portal linked above as well: http://ideas.tibco.com/ Beyond that, you would need to calculate your forecast on your own using TERR/R and then display those results on your Line Chart as your forecast. You could use a package like 'forecast' (https://cran.r-project.org/web/packages/forecast/forecast.pdf)
Eugene Kim 6
Anyone else get any additional information on this I can get a custom curve on a graph to forecast a variable. For me, that variable is oil and gas production, but I'd also like to be able to display in a table the value on that curve for each point in time (days or months). Mark Herrmann
I would also find this very helfpul and since I could not find anything in the ideas portal I added a new idea:https://ideas.tibco.com/ideas/TS-I-6966 Happy voting :-) Mark
