Access to jwt token in Spotfire SDK

Dear all,

we have our Spotfire environment configured to use oAuth2 OIDC for authentication. Is there a way to get access to the user's jwt token in the SDK to be able to use that token for authentication against an API in a custom data source or an IP script

Hi,

The access token is made available to PostAuthenticationFilter implementations on the Spotfire Server (intended to make it possible to, on behalf of the user, for example call services that provide group membership information). See the AuthenticationContext Javadoc for details.

The access token is unfortunately not made available to any .NET API:s or such. Feel free to report this as an enhancement in the Ideas portal (https://ideas.tibco.com).

I'd also like to point out that since 11.7 it's possible to pass access tokens established during login to Information Services data sources (more information can be found in the Spotfire Server manual).
