Anton Lopa Posted January 11, 2022 Share Posted January 11, 2022 I am trying to create a calculated column that is based on certain string parameters of other existing columns. Multiple resources online mention the function Find, and the ~= operator, but I don't seem to have those. Looking at the text function documentation, it seems like I should have these functions, but they don't exist on my spotfire. Kirsten Smith (she/her) Posted January 24, 2022 Share Posted January 24, 2022 Most likely your data is set to External (in-db) so not all functions will be available to you. If you import your data again and use the 'Import' option, you'll see these functions. If you click on Help/Help Topics and look under the Index tab for: In-database data, working with you'll find more information about External and Imported data.
