Error " The expression must have boolean"

Hi experts, new to spotfire

 

been trying to filter rows under transform data , however it keep showing this error

 

May i know what are the steps to allow me to filter a certain word in the string column ( for example I want to filter " Q4" )

When adding an expression to a Filter transformation the result of the expression must be a boolean expression. Try changing it to Split([quarter], "-",2)="Q4" to see if that gives you what you are looking for.
