Add rows with calculated columns in spotfire analyst

Hi All, I have a newbiew question:

1. Im am importing a csv file and i make a calculation during import on that csv that will add a new column that i call "A"

2. I need to add lines to the data imprting a second csv file with the same columns and i make the same calculations during improt that will create again the column A

But when the lines are added the rows from the second csv will have A empty and a columnA_1 with calculated data.

There is a different behaviour between the columne imported and the column created during inport, the first are joined the second are renamed

Any hint to solve this issue will be wellcome !

Please use a transformation to calculate your new column A for your first and second table. Then the merge will work fine. Calculated columns from transformations are treated differently than columns that come from "Add calculated column"
