Updating a property control expression which is used in multiple text areas via one source, rather than individually

Hi,

I have 3 property controls (2 drop downs and list box) which are across 5 pages in the one dashboard. If i amend the expression in the property control on one of the pages it doesnt update the property control elsewhere. Is there a way to edit the property control once and it updates in all text areas In file > Document Properties > Properties it only allows me to edit the Property value and description, not the actual expression etc.
