How to allow Popup and redirection to new page using URLs

We create a visualization using the tibco spotfire mod. Using javascript/Typescript and the API version is 1.2. Tibco server version 11.4.0.

Requirement:

We need to redirect the user from the mod to new tab with the URL. But we are getting the the below error

"Blocked opening 'https://www.URL.com' in a new window because the request was made in a sandboxed frame whose 'allow-popups' permission is not set."

1. How to set the permission for allow-popups

2. If not, what is the alternative methods to redirect.
