Can I filter for data with a text area slider

Hi everyone,

I have created a slider in a spotfire visualization that will will ideally allow me to use as a filter (see screenshot). As I move the slider, the vertical line (Avg([X])+ ${SlideRange}*StdDev([X])) moves. I would like the two graphs below to be data to the right of this . Does anyone know how to do this

Create a custom column that checks to see if the data is above or below the value, then you can filter on the results. Something like:

 

case when [column] < value or [column] > value then "hide" else "show" end

 

then filter out all the "hide" values
