How to control two filters with different table at once

Hi,

Let's say there are two filters [Table_1].[Date] and [Table_2].[Date] both in format "dd/mm/yyyy", and I've set "Relations" and "Column Matches" in DataTable Properties.

Now I create a text area andinsert the date range filter [Table_1].[Date], howeverchanging[Table_1].[Date] won't affect my second filter

Is there a way to connecttwo filters with different tables

You are on the right track. Please check "Working with Multiple Data Tables" in the Spotfire help. You are just two clicks away (in the filtering panel) to get it done. Click on the little table icon next to the table name to change the filter settings.
